Providing Care, Dignity, and Hope for Children Living with Disabilities

Bessie Mpelegele Ngwana Child Care Centre (BMNCC) is a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children living with physical, intellectual, developmental, and neurological disabilities. Based in Rustenburg, North West Province, BMNCC provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where vulnerable children receive daily care, nutritious meals, developmental support, healthcare assistance, and opportunities to reach their full potential. For many families, BMNCC is more than a care centre—it is a place of hope, belonging, and opportunity.

What We Do

BMNCC provides a range of services designed to support the physical, emotional, developmental, and social wellbeing of children in our care.

Daily Care and Support Providing a safe and structured environment where children receive personalised care and supervision. Nutrition and Wellness Ensuring children receive nutritious meals and support that contributes to their health and wellbeing. Developmental Programmes Supporting children's growth through activities that encourage learning, communication, confidence, and independence. Family Support Working closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen family support systems and improve outcomes for children. Community Development Building partnerships with businesses, donors, volunteers, churches, and community organisations that help sustain our work and expand our impact.

Children requiring specialised daily care and support Many of the children in our care require ongoing assistance with daily activities, developmental support, nutrition, healthcare, and social integration. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that every child receives the attention, care, and dignity they deserve.

Tax-Deductible Giving

BMNCC welcomes support from individuals, businesses, trusts, and foundations that share our vision of creating a better future for children living with disabilities. As a qualifying Public Benefit Organisation (subject to SARS approval status), donations may qualify for tax deductions in terms of Section 18A of the Income Tax Act. Qualifying donors can request a Section 18A tax certificate for eligible donations, allowing them to claim applicable tax benefits from SARS. Your contribution not only changes lives but may also provide valuable tax benefits for your organisation or business.
